Get in Touch

Tell us about the site, and the deadline.

Most people reach us because a council, a lender or the regulator has asked for something specific a Project Brief, an ESIA, an ESMP, an approved layout plan. Describe the development and where it sits, and we will come back with the right instrument, a realistic timeline and a fee basis. No obligation, and no guesswork.

Questions we get every week.

If your question is not here, ask it in the form above so that we should do our best to help you.

It depends on the category your development falls into under Malawi's environmental legislation. Smaller or lower-risk developments are usually cleared through a Project Brief. Prescribed and larger-scale projects need a full ESIA with baseline data, community consultation and stakeholder validation. Send us a short description of the development, its size and its location and we will tell you which instrument applies before you spend anything.
A Project Brief typically runs a few weeks from instruction to submission. A full ESIA takes longer, because the fieldwork, consultation and validation stages cannot be compressed without weakening the report. Regulatory review time sits outside our control, so we give you a firm date for our submission and a realistic expectation for approval separately — never one figure that hides the difference.
Yes, nationwide. We have delivered assignments in Blantyre, Zomba, Chiradzulu, Mulanje, Thyolo, Chikwawa, Nsanje, Machinga, Phalombe, Balaka, Dedza, Lilongwe, Kasungu, Mzuzu and Karonga — and reviewed a city disaster management plan in Kerala, India. For fieldwork we mobilise and train enumerators locally, which keeps costs down and the data grounded.
Yes. A Contractor ESMP is a different product from a client-side ESMP, and it is a niche we work in regularly. We have prepared CESMPs on World Bank funded works for the Sinohydro and Stecol joint venture on the Shire Valley Transformation Programme, covering the Kapichira temporary intake, the secondary canals and associated borrow pits.
Yes. We are registered with the PPDA as a supplier of services in the MK1bn service category, we are tax compliant, and our business registration is current. We have delivered for district and city councils, ministries, parastatals and donor programmes, and we have worked in joint venture where an assignment needed more capacity. Ask for the capability pack and you will get every certificate in one file.
Assignments are quoted as a fixed fee against a written scope, so you know the number before we start. The fee reflects the instrument required, the size and sensitivity of the site, how much fieldwork and consultation is involved, and travel. We do not quote a figure until we understand the site — which is why the form asks for the detail it does.

Call the office. If the work is genuinely urgent, tell us the date you are working to and we will be straight with you about whether it is achievable, before you commission anyone.
